College Play: The Tempest

April 16, 2015 | 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM | Location: Pew Fine Arts Center - Ketler Auditorium

In this magical play, Shakespeare combines fantasy, romance and comedy into a fascinating drama of revenge and reconciliation. Dr. James Dixon, after 39 years of teaching and directing at GCC, will play the part of the magician Prospero, who at the end gives up his magic and retires back to his dukedom in Milan. As this was Shakespeare’s final play, so it will be for Dr. Dixon. He will retire at the end of this academic year.

The campus community may reserve tickets by logging onto myGCC and going to the "Events" tab. Tickets for the general public will be available beginning March 12. Click HERE for specific dates and times.
