Overnight Visit

Overnight Visit

The Admissions Office reserves particular dates for our overnight visitation program for high school seniors, transfer students, and second semester juniors. On these select dates our office matches a prospective student with a current student host according to hobbies, interests, choice of major, or geographic region. Meal vouchers, courtesy of the Admissions Office, will be provided to the prospective student for dinner on the night of his/her overnight visit as well as a breakfast voucher for the next morning.

To participate in our overnight program*, the student must also schedule either a Question & Answer Session or Admissions Interview or have already completed one of those appointments at a prior visit. Overnight visits must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance of your requested visit date.

Please contact our office directly at 724-458-2100 or visit@gcc.edu to schedule an overnight at least two weeks prior to the dates below. Overnight visits cannot be scheduled online.

Spring 2017:

Friday, February 17
Friday, April 21

Fall 2017:

Due to the limited number of hosts, overnight visits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For an overnight visit on these dates, students must arrive no later than 4:30 p.m.

* Please note: If you would like to schedule a classroom visit or faculty visit in conjunction with your overnight visits, you must make the Admissions Office aware of your request and preference for subject. Classroom or faculty visits are not automatically included in an overnight visit.
