Schedule an Interview

As a part of our holistic admissions process, the interview gives each student the opportunity to highlight his/her accomplishments and involvements in high school, goals for the future, and any other areas of interest to an admissions counselor.

Why Interview?

The interview plays a significant role in the selection of the freshman class and is highly recommended for admission, especially for those applicants who live within one day's drive (approximately eight hours) from our campus. Of this year's enrolled freshman class, 92 percent interviewed with our office. Therefore, we urge all applicants to interview when they feel prepared to discuss their interests and the nature of their college search.

The interview, although evaluative in nature, more closely resembles a conversation about the student, his/her desires for college, and what Grove City College can offer. We begin interviewing students no earlier than the spring of their junior year and continue until our interview deadlines are met. As with all interviews, we recommend professional dress. A student may not "re-interview" and therefore, should wait until the appropriate time in his or her college search.

Early Decision applicants must interview no later than November 15 of the candidate’s senior yer
Regular Decision applicants must interview no later than February 1 of the candidate’s senior year.

Please call our office to make an appointment for an interview and/or campus tour at 724-458-2100.
