SIT Study Abroad
  • SIT provides immersive, field-based study abroad programs for undergraduates. SIT programs are based on the experiential learning model, which merges hands-on learning with reflection. Programs include either an internship or an undergraduate research project.
  • Choose from over 70 programs in 30 countries, uniquely including Iceland, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
  • Most programs include at least one homestay experience, offering a student the chance to better understand the local culture and to experience the daily rhythm of life in the host country. Many programs offer homestays in both urban and rural areas to give the student contrasting views of life in different social or ethnic contexts. Homestays can be anywhere from a few days to 14 weeks in duration.
