Camp Fair

Representatives from numerous camps across the country will be in the Student Union on Wednesday, Feb. 5 from 1-4 p.m. to recruit GCC students for their summer staff positions. There are various opportunities available for ministry, worship team leaders, counselors, lifeguards, crafts directors and many more! So, stop by for s'more bars & Chex mix, and connect with camp reps from all over the U.S. who are interested in recruiting YOU for their summer camp hiring needs!

Don't Get Left Out: How to Always Find a Job You Love

Join Chris Marasco '11, Large Cap Equity Analyst at Seeking Alpha and Angela (Palumbo) Marasco '13, 8th Grade Math Teacher at Seneca Valley as they give helpful tips on how to build a network to land your dream job and share about their own personal journeys in the job search. Thus, this program will be helpful to Education AND non-Education majors.

In this workshop, you will learn how to:
     • Figure out what work you like doing
     • Figure out what work you don't like doing
     • How to get a job doing what you really like doing (LinkedIn, Alumni Directory and Networking)
     • How God orchestrates people's stories

Professionalism & Etiquette Night

PERC Teacher Job Fair
Wednesday, March 26
9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monroeville Convention Center
This is the big one - our major teacher job fair of the year. Approximately 100 school districts (and a few online placement organizations) will be at PERC to share information and conduct interviews for teaching positions. GCC will sponsor a bus to and from PERC. Check the PERC website for more info: to register, a list of employers, preparation tips, etc.

Junior Career Meeting
Wednesday, April 23
4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., HAL Sticht
This mandatory meeting for juniors will provide info and tips on approaching your senior year, whether you'll be searching for a job, planning on graduate school, or pursuing other plans!

Sophomore Career Meeting
Thursday, April 24
4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., HAL 110
At this meeting, sophomores will receive advice to assist them at this point in their career development, as well as helpful information on preparing for next year's internship search.

Study Day Blitz
