Department of Philosophy

The Department of Philosophy at Grove City College provides students the opportunity to examine essential ideas of human thought and ethical action from a Christian perspective and prepares them to excel in varied careers and top graduate and professional programs.

Philosophy is something our students do – a way of engaging in rational inquiry. More than just studying philosophical movements and thinkers, students gain a firm grounding in logic and question the philosophical underpinnings of a wide array of disciplines including language, religion, politics and law.

The Department of Philosophy at Grove City College invites critical interaction and debate among students with differing perspectives.
