Study Abroad for Engineers

Study Abroad for Engineers

Nantes is the seventh largest city in France and a major center for industry and education.  It is just two hours by train from Paris, and only a single-day’s travel from Spain, England, Germany, Italy and much of the rest of Europe.  The affiliated Universities of Nantes make up one of the largest university systems in France, with an enrollment of 50,000 students.

Approximately 40% of each graduating class in mechanical engineering at Grove City College completes the fall semester of their junior year at our 24-bed remote campus in Nantes.  The facility has complete classroom and eating facilities, high-speed wireless support, and fulltime Grove City College engineering faculty living on site.  All students maintain their normal Grove City College student status and financial support while studying and living at the center. In fact, the all-inclusive cost is just $290 above normal tuition, room and board fees. While there is no language requirement, the program accommodates those with an advanced level of French through an advanced language track. For more information, click here.
