​After Graduation ​​​

Students graduating from the Department of Mathematics are well poised for a wide variety of career paths including education, computer and information sciences, actuarial science and business.

Recent graduates are working at Alcoa, State Farm Insurance, Buck Consulting, USX, GE, Mellon Bank, PPG, Towers Perrin and NSA. Others have chosen to continue their studies at the University of Pittsburgh, University of Illinois, University of Maryland, University of Akron and Carnegie-Mellon University.​

B.S. in Mathematics

In addition to the College core curriculum, students complete in-depth study of linear and abstract algebra, calculus, classical analysis and more .
