Grove City is top regional Christian College

Grove City College is number two in Christian Universities Online’s ranking of the “10 Best Christian Colleges and Universities in the North 2017.”

Christian Universities Online, a resource for students and families researching Christian higher education, focuses on schools that excel in categories of personal attention to their students, selectivity, readily-available financial aid and overall student satisfaction.

All qualifying schools located in the northern U.S. were considered based on publicly available data such as faculty to student ratio, percentage of full-time beginning undergraduates that receive financial aid, selectivity, retention rate and overall graduation rate.

The College’s 13:1 student-to-faculty ratio, financial aid numbers and selectivity, coupled with a 94 percent freshmen retention rate and an 85 percent graduation rate earned Grove City College the high honor. Christian Universities Online considers schools that are either members or eligible for membership in the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. Grove City College is not a member of the council, but its approach to education is guided by scriptural ethics and Christian teachings.

Christian Universities Online publishes rankings and reviews of the best Christian colleges and universities, information about Christian scholarship and financial aid and many other resources for finding, getting into and paying for a quality Christian education. The website recently put Grove City College at number five on its list of the nation’s top Christian colleges.
