Athletic Facilities​

Whether you’re on a team, or just looking to work out, you have access to amazing athletic facilities. The Physical Learning Center is a state-of-the-art recreational facility, containing six racquetball courts, two swimming pools, an indoor running track, a basketball/volleyball arena, a 36,000 square-foot intramural room, and a 9,000-square-foot fitness room that services the entire College community. The fitness room includes Cybex machines, free weights, treadmills, climbers, recumbent bikes, elliptical trainers and other specific training equipment. Additionally, our varsity teams and campus community enjoy a lighted football field with sports-turf synthetic grass as well as recently renovated soccer, baseball and softball fields.

Alumni Council

​The Grove City College Alumni Council is a body of alumni who serve in an advisory capacity to the College on matters crucial to the College’s more than 25,000 living alumni. Each year, three Alumni Council members sit on the Board of Trustees.

History

​When the College was chartered, a broad, Christian-based cultural consensus prevailed in America. By charter, the doors of the College were open to qualified students "without regard to religious test or belief."

Past Presidents

Grove City College was the dream and lifelong work of the Ketler and Pew families. In 1876, Grove City College began with 13 students. By the turn of the century, the enrollment had grown to 660 students.
