Office/Department: Office of Multicultural Recruitment and Retention
Description: This position is responsible for coordinating the College’s multicultural recruiting initiative, specifically in Eastern Ohio. The chosen candidate will work with the Director of Multicultural Recruitment and Retention in developing, implementing, and monitoring all aspects of underrepresented minority student prospect management, recruitment, and yield activates. This person will build relationships with high schools and community college counselors, as well as community organizations and church leaders to assist in out-reach to underrepresented minority students and their families. This person will also create, maintain and strengthen relationships with foundations that provide multicultural or minority scholarships, grants and loans.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of one year professional experience in higher education, admissions or related field. The successful candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills, and possess strong organizational and computer skills. This position is a work from home position and will be located in Eastern Ohio.
