TAP One-Act Festival (Fall)

TAP One-Act Festival (Fall)

September 25, 2014 | 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM | Location: Pew Fine Arts Center - Little Theatre

Tau Alpha Pi (TAP), the Grove City College Theatre Honorary, sponsors the Fall TAP One-Act Festival during the last week of September. The show consists of four short plays directed and performed by students. The fall plays include: “The Dark Lady of the Sonnets,” George Bernard Shaw’s Shakespearean tale of love and misdirection featuring the Bard himself, “Postcards,” by James Prideux, tracing the lives of an endearing elderly couple and the postcards they write to celebrities dead or alive, “The Playwright’s Dilemma,” a story by Richard Sturm of a love triangle so complex it would make Pythagoras blush, and “Waiting,” a dour examination of the afterlife by Academy Award-winning director Ethan Coen.

Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each performance.

Advance ticket reservations for the Fall One-Act Festival are now closed for all performance nights.

There may be limited room for non-ticket holders each evening at 7:15 p.m. Students without tickets will be seated in the Little Theatre as space allows.

Reserved tickets may be picked up in the PFAC lobby 45 minutes prior to each performance.

Seats will be held for advance ticket holders until 15 minutes before show time. Seats for non-tickets holders will be available from 15 minutes before until curtain, as space allows.

There will be one brief intermission, but ticket-holders are kindly asked to remain for the duration of the festival. Total run-time is under two hours.
