Position: Management and Business Faculty Position
Grove City College invites applications for an open rank professor of Management. Preference will be given to candidates who have educational and/or experiential credentials in operations management, quality management, statistical process control, and quantitative business methods. However, we invite persons with any specific expertise in management to apply. Ability and interest in teaching courses in international business will be a plus.
Preference will be given to candidates who have a doctorate in management or a closely related field, but persons with a master’s degree and relevant work experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Significant applied managerial experience is a plus. Faculty are required to be committed believers in the Christian faith, and able and interested in integrating faith with the study and practice of management.
Grove City College’s Business Program is accredited by ACBSP and includes three academic departments: Accounting and Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Management and Marketing. The business program houses seven major programs of study, 12 minors, seventeen faculty, and roughly 500 students. The Management major itself has over 120 students who are required to choose one of three concentrations: human resources, operations, or entrepreneurship.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong potential for excellence in classroom teaching and a commitment to teaching highly motivated students at a Christian liberal arts institution. Salary commensurate with qualifications.
