Description: Grove City College’s Career Services Office is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Director for Employer Relations and Internship Development who will be responsible for effectively managing employer partnerships and promoting internships across campus. He/she will work on strategically strengthening existing relationships with employers and developing new relationships to expand the range of employer recruiting activities available to students, including on-campus interviews, information sessions, on-site employer visits, and job and internship postings. With respect to internship development, this Assistant Director will lead programming efforts to aid students in the internship search process, educate students on internship opportunities, communicate the value of an internship to students, and collaborate and communicate with faculty internship coordinators. He/she will assist in advancing the mission of the office by providing career guidance to students in the realms of self-assessment, career exploration, internship and job search advising, among other areas, and guiding students through the process of discovering their vocational callings. Additionally, this Assistant Director will aid students in the career development process through other means, including presenting workshops, giving classroom presentations, as well as leading, developing and coordinating career-related programs and events. Finally, this position will be responsible for developing positive and professional relationships with employers, students, faculty, staff, alumni, and parents.
