Grove City College is in the top 10 colleges for homeschool graduates! If you want to continue your pursuit of Truth in a deep-rooted academic community, we encourage you to apply. Please follow our application instructions and view additional guidelines below specific to homeschool applicants.

Please note: Grove City College defines a homeschool student as one who is taught at home by his/her parents or by a group of individuals outside of the traditional educational system. Students who have taken college classes to supplement their home education will enroll as freshmen and will progress each year along with their peers.

How to apply

Additional Guidelines for Homeschool Applicants

When applying, please note:

  • The required high school transcript (and any available college transcripts) should include your course of study and grades (including senior year classes and available grades), preferably organized by academic year rather than by subject.
  • The two required letters of recommendation should be written by individuals outside of your family.
  • An optional resume and admissions interview are encouraged for scholarship consideration.
Interview (highly recommended)

Because every homeschooling family is unique, we highly encourage you to schedule a personal interview so that we can learn more about your educational background and get to know you on a deeper level as an applicant. Please be prepared to elaborate on your favorite high school courses and extracurricular activities outside of the home.

Dual Enrollment Program

Qualified high school juniors and seniors may take college classes for credit at a fraction of the standard cost. The courses may count for high school credit in addition to Grove City College credit. Find out more about our dual enrollment program.
