What have you been doing since graduation?
I got an M.S. in sociology at Purdue in 2007 and a Ph.D. in sociology at Purdue in 2011. I'm a sociology professor at University of Toronto. I do research and teach courses for undergraduate and graduate students.

Why did you choose Grove City College?
Grove City College offers a unique educational experience in the liberal arts tradition. Classes are small and taught by dedicated faculty. The College community is close-knit and cohesive due to the school's emphasis on campus residential life. 

How important was affordability in your choice of Grove City College?
Affordability mattered a lot in my decision, and Grove City College was - and is - a terrific bargain. 

How well did Grove City College prepare you to enter the workplace?
Grove City College prepared me very well. The school trained me to read widely, think carefully, and write persuasively.

How would you describe the spiritual environment at Grove City College?
Spiritual formation was a huge emphasis at Grove City College. There are many opportunities for students to talk about issues of ultimate meaning. 

What is the relationship like between students and professors?
Professors genuinely care for students. They get to know them as individuals.

What should prospective students know about Grove City College?
Grove City College is a truly special institution. Your four years at Grove City College will shape your outlook on intellectual, cultural, social, and spiritual issues. It will also produce life-giving and lifelong friendships.
