Do you feel like you made any concessions to come to a school that is reasonably priced?
I do not feel that I have made any concessions by coming to a school that is so reasonably priced. I have never once thought that I am missing out on something that my peers at other more expensive colleges get to experience!

How is faith incorporated in the classroom?
The professors here do a great job of connecting class content to the Christian worldview and directly to the Bible. It is really the simple things that make it so beneficial. For example, just being able see how the Bible fits into the secular version of ancient history that I was taught in high school has been wonderful. Many of my classes have really helped me to solidify and develop my Christian worldview perspective.

What is the relationship like between the students and the professors?
The wonderful part of attending a smaller college is that it is feasible to get to know your professors one on one. The professors here have frequent office hours and love when you stop by with a question or just to say “hi” and chat. Getting to know my professors on a personal level has been such a blessing – I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world.

What advice would you give to an incoming student?
Be excited to make new friends! There are so many wonderful people here that will definitely be forever friends. Also, be prepared to work hard! The academics here are challenging, but rewarding if you are willing to put in the effort.

What are some of the things you do during your free time either on or off campus?
During my free time at Grove City College I mostly enjoy spending time with my friends. We like to drive to Pittsburgh, hike at a nearby state park, grab coffee or ice cream in downtown Grove City, or watch a movie at the Guthrie. There are also lots of theatre programs, orchestra concerts, dance performances, and sporting events to attend as well!
