As soon as you set foot on campus, you’ll understand why so many students (and faculty) choose to call Grove City College home. From the stained-glass windows of Harbison Chapel to the glass-walled labs of STEM Hall, visitors are immediately struck by the integration of grounded intellectual discourse and authentic Christian community. Students, too, discover that the community of scholarship extends far beyond the classroom – and that a sincere desire to know and love one’s neighbor as Christ loves us is the driving force behind everything we do.
As a student, I experienced this desire firsthand and now cherish my relationships with peers and professors (many of whom are now some of my closest mentors, and even friends). I know this time of searching can be filled with uncertainty and frustration, but I encourage you to rest in the knowledge that God will provide peace of both mind and spirit when you cast your cares on him. I am so excited to come alongside you as you find your undergraduate home and discern God’s calling for your future.
I graduated in 2016 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a Spanish minor. While a student, I invested much of my time outside of the classroom into furthering my love of the arts, participating actively in Touring Choir, Orchesis Dance Troupe, and the theatre program. One of the biggest highlights (and simultaneous challenges) of my educational career was studying abroad in Vina del Mar, Chile. My time away temporarily satiated my wanderlust and significantly expanded my worldview, but it was not until my return home that my understanding of my need for Christ also grew exponentially, solidifying my desire to know him intimately. I will forever value my time as a student and am so grateful for the formative role of Grove City College in my life.

Favorite Scripture Passage
“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” - 2 Peter 1: 5-11
