About Me
Originally from the Shenandoah Valley, I’m a Virginia girl, living in a Pennsylvania world.
I came to know Jesus on a mountain-top, singing around a campfire at Brethren Woods Camp and Retreat Center, a Christian camp in Keezletown, Va. As a pre-teen, I volunteered at camp and continued to work there through my college years as a counselor and assistant program director. Little did I know the way Christ was using me in those roles.
Six years had passed when a former camper and I crossed paths again at Bridgewater College. I was recruiting counselors for a week-long leadership academy, and my former camper applied. Imagine my surprise when she talked about how I was a mentor for her. Christ used me to inspire her and she recalled her precious memories to me. I know God can use each of you similarly if you are open to HIS calling.
I’ve spent the last 14 years serving a variety of educational and non-profit organizations in marketing, communication and event planning. I live in Slippery Rock with my husband, two daughters and three dogs. We enjoy historical reenacting, beach vacations, and competing in field trials with our beagles.
I pray God continues to use me, the Admissions team, and our student ambassadors to mentor you as prospective students as you navigate the college search process.

Favorite Scripture
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race; I have kept the faith. - 2 Timothy 4:7
Favorite College Memory
Spending every Sunday night in The Talon (school newspaper) office putting the campus newspaper together with some unique and talented friends. We had a wall of shame before where we posted everyone’s late night quotes. Late nights, little sleep, and lots of great memories!
Favorite Activity on Campus
Grabbing a latte in the GeDunk and chatting with students, faculty, and staff.
