It was in a backyard Vacation Bible School at the age of seven that I dedicated my life to Jesus. Since then, He has been my all, and His blessings are abundant. Growing up in a single-parent (and later a blended household), my independence as an individual was balanced by deep dependence on God and seeking His will in my life.
I have had diverse experience as an educator over 27 years in K-12. All along, the students have been my focus as I seek to be the hands and feet of God in their lives. Academics are important, but the heart of a person is of far greater, eternal consequence - that is what brought me to Grove City College.
Grove City College balances rigorous academics with a caring, Christian community of educators and support staff that assist students in navigating life in a manner glorifying to God and true to one’s beliefs. Beyond that, students are reminded that the goal of their college career needs to be about finding God’s calling on their lives, based upon the gifts that have been bestowed upon them - not just the paycheck they might receive on a biweekly basis.
Life can throw you curveballs, but God is faithful (I Corinthians 10:13). My hope is that I might be able to speak light and life into the lives of potential students, illuminating the amazing possibilities that await them on the campus of Grove City College. Ask questions, seek God’s direction, and if led, join us on life’s journey here at Grove City College. You are sure to be blessed!
