I was drawn to these by my love of playing and my 30 years of teaching instrumental music in public and parochial schools.
What is the most important piece of advice you give to students to help them succeed?
Be sincere in what you do, be organized and enthusiastic, and stay positive even in the most challenging situations.
Principal horn for the W.D. Packard Band, Greenville Symphony Orchestra, Youngstown Fine Arts Brass Quintet, and Bravura Woodwind Quintet. Also a freelance horn player for various theatre productions.
Since my retirement from the Farrell School District I have been very involved in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) where I serve as the Festival Coordinator for District 5.
