Discovery Day set for STEM, exercise science hopefuls

Grove City College’s Hopeman School of Science, Engineering and Mathematics is holding a Discovery Day open house for high school students interested in science, technology, engineering, math and exercise science from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 in Pew Fine Arts Center on campus.

Students will meet with faculty and learn about the majors in the Hopeman School, hear about financial aid, interact with current students and experience campus life with a walking tour and lunch in a dining hall.
Past Discovery Days have drawn hundreds of high school students to Grove City College. Many of them go on to apply and enroll at the College, majoring in biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, exercise science, mathematics, physics or other Hopeman School disciplines.
