College Marketing and Communication team earns Cuppie Awards

Grove City College’s Office of Marketing and Communications won five Cuppie Awards at the statewide College and University Public Relations and Associated Professionals (CUPRAP) conference last week in Lancaster, Pa.

With more than 450 entries from colleges and universities across Pennsylvania and nearby states, the office was recognized with a Silver award in the category of Print Athletic Communications for an abridged version of the March 2019 “Wolverines Together” edition of The GeDUNK Magazine, which was created to showcase excellence in the College’s NCAA Division III athletic program. The full “Wolverines Together” edition of the GeDUNK Magazine also earned an honorable mention award in the Magazine category for colleges and universities.

In addition, a department project entitled “Athletics at Grove City College” won a Bronze award for Electronic Media in the Agency Video (Non-Advertising) category.

The team also earned honorable mention awards for the September 2019 cover “Seat at Our Table” edition of the GeDUNK Magazine and for the short-form feature story “Seven Days that Shook the Campus,” which appeared in the March 2019 edition of the magazine.

“We are pleased that Grove City College has been recognized by CUPRAP and its peer institutions for work which strives to advance our mission.
