The Alumni Merit Reward Scholarship is a one-year award available to incoming freshmen to recognize outstanding academic achievement while in high school.
Thanks to generous giving by our alumni, Grove City College provides many $2,000 to $4,000 scholarships annually to freshmen who have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and outstanding achievement.
To be considered for this scholarship, prospective freshmen must complete the admissions application (including all supplemental documents such as transcript and letter of recommendation) by March 15.
The one-time $4,000 scholarship will be awarded to students with an SAT score from 1250-1349, ACT from 26-28, or CLT 88-95 and a 3.50 high school GPA. The one-time $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to students with a 3.75 or higher high school GPA who are not receiving any reward for the Trustee Scholarship, President’s Scholarship, or Provost’s Scholarship.
The deadline for accepting the Alumni Merit Reward Scholarship is May 1. Transfer students and international students qualify for these awards. Transfers will qualify based on test scores and GPA from their senior year of high school.
