The Wolverine Marching Band (Marching Wolverines) has a long history and tradition at Grove City College. As one of the largest marching bands in our division, we pride ourselves in making great music and supporting the College and its mission.

The marching band performs at all home football games as well as several venues on and off campus. Past performances include Disney World, the televised WPXI Holiday Parade in Pittsburgh, and Pittsburgh Pirates baseball games. Each year, we perform two parade pieces (including our fight song), a pre-game show, and a primary halftime show consisting of four selections plus our fight song. Additionally, our pre-game procession to Thorn Field has become an anticipated and recognized event.
Information regarding the performance schedule will be available over the summer, prior to band camp.
Nearly every major on campus is represented in the marching band! The band accomplishes most of its work during band camp in August. During the fall semester, the band rehearses Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:50 p.m., and we work with students who have a conflict with a class or lab. Most performances occur on Saturdays. We have designed the program to make participation possible for every student.
All band members report to the lower lobby (auditorium) of the Pew Fine Arts Center, 100 Campus Dr., Grove City, PA 16127 when checking in for band camp.
At Grove City College, we look at the Wolverine Marching Band as a major service provider to the campus and community, and as such, we can keep personal costs to a minimum.
