Plan for success as a health professional.

At Grove City College, most pre-health students pursue majors in the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, or Exercise Science and Athletics. Some students choose non-science majors but take the foundational courses required for acceptance to most health profession programs.

The high quality core science courses at Grove City College provide important foundations for various national health professional exams such as the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT), Dental Admissions Test (DAT), Graduate Record Exam (GRE), and the Optometry Admissions Test (OAT).

Medical School Statistics

Faculty advisors guide each pre-health student in the application process for professional schools. As a result, Grove City College students have gained acceptance into professional programs of medicine (allopathic and osteopathic), dentistry, optometry, physician assistant, physical therapy and occupational therapy, medical technology, cardiovascular technology, pharmacy, nursing, veterinary medicine, and biomedical research.
